Our Story

Mamma. Figlia.

Mamma Figlia is a mother and daughter project shaped by two generations experiencing Italy together.

Our family story began in Italy. Across an ocean and through generations, that connection has remained part of who we are. We return for its beauty, for the people we love, and for the feeling of drawing closer to our roots, with something new to discover each time.

We notice different details. We bring home different memories. And somewhere between those perspectives is the kind of travel we want to create. It is personal, beautiful, rooted and full of discovery.

Mamma Figlia isn’t simply our name. It’s the way we travel.

A little more about us.

Mamma. Tiffany.

With a background in art history and years spent working in interior and event design, I’ve always been drawn to the details that give a place its character. That curiosity follows me through Italy, into artisan workshops, gardens, and the spaces where everyday life unfolds.

A place I return to
The sea. Wherever I go in Italy, I always find my way to the water.
Always in my suitcase home
Local amari. They tell the landscape of any village you will visit.
A taste I dream about
Grilled vegetables from Campania. That smoky flavor, a little olive oil, salt and a dash of white wine vinegar tastes otherworldly.
An Italian ritual I love
La passeggiata. Walking arm in arm with someone I love.

My connection to Italy is rooted in family, but it continues to become my own. A local bookstore, a familiar plate of pasta, or an evening passeggiata gives me another reason to return and something new to share.

A place I return to
Rome. A city I love coming back to, with so much still to discover each time.
Always in my suitcase home
Books and a tote from a local bookstore to carry them in. Something to read, and something to remind me where I found it.
A taste I dream about
Cavatelli in Molise with the most extraordinary pile of truffles on top. A plate I’m still thinking about.
An Italian ritual I love
La passeggiata. Time to walk, talk and enjoy being together.
